Develop a greater understanding of the debate: Pet Health Savings Account or Pet Insurance.
Discuss data indicating client awareness of the costs of treating a seriously ill or injured pet. Why we as veterinarians should consider our responsibility in these discussions and educating clients on payment options
Gain an appreciation of why veterinarians may want to promote pet insurance to their clients and how to do this effectively.
Receive a worksheet that outlines a 5-step process to choose a pet insurance company to insure your own pets. This worksheet will be provided as a handout link.
